The Holy Spirit.
KNOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT.
The Holy Spirit is a real person.
We must get to know Him in a personal and intimate way.
Paul wrote of the communion of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 13:14

14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
The Holy Spirit.
New Way of living.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit provide a whole new way of living for the spirit-filled believer.
Even as Peter got out of his boat and walked on the water to Jesus, we are to step out of the comfort zones of natural living and walk on “ spiritual waters.”
We are to live in the spirit and operate in all nine of His supernatural gifts in our daily lives.
1 Samuel 10:6

6 The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.
Resurrection power is for those who believe.
If you do not want or do not believe nothing will happen.
But if you want the power of God to be manifested in your life you must believe and receive it by faith and also operate on those gifts which God has given you.
Ephesians 1:19-20

JESUS MINISTERED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

When Jesus came to this earth He humbled himself and came as a man.
He temporarily laid aside all His rights and privileges as God and lived on this earth as a man.
No Miracles recorded.
When He was baptised by John according to Mark 1:10,11 the Holy Spirit came upon Him immediately miracles began to happen in His ministry.
Jesus our example anointed by the Holy Spirit, began to operate in the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The same power for us today.

Prophet Joel prophesied in (Joel 2: 28,29)
Jesus baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.(Luke 3:16)

WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT THERE IS NO POWER TO WITNESS.
When you do not have the Holy Spirit you do not have the power.
The Holy Spirit will give you the boldness of speech.

. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me[a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

A Miracle took place in their mouth.
ASKING FOR THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Ask and it shall be given to you.
Its is a gift and you don’t have to work for it.
Samaritans received the gift. Acts 8 14-17
The Gentiles received this gift.
Acts 10:44-46

44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. 45 The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. 46 For they heard them speaking in tongues[a] and praising God.
Speaking in Tongues.
The evidence of speaking in an unknown tongue always accompanied receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said that this is a sign that would follow those who believe they shall speak with new tongues(Mark 16:17)
Paul wrote that he spoke in a heavenly language the tongues of angel.( 1 Corinthian 13 :1)
Paul explained that this came by the Holy Spirit through his spirit and not through his mind
The angels never run out of words praising God.
1Corinthians 14-14 For if I pray in a tongue my spirit prays but my understanding is unfruitful.
Praying in the Spirit is God’s will.
Jesus told the Samaritan woman that those who worship me shall worship me in Spirit and in Truth.
Roman 8: 26& 27
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us[b] with groaning which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
God speaks to us through His Spirit.
Testimony: God gave me a name of a person in a Petrol Station in Tangkak Muar. Telling me all about his back sliding and asking him to return to God. I called him by his name he was so surprised first time meeting him and able to call him and tell him every thing about his life.
God spoke and told me that a person is having 2 wives. And when he asked me to pray I told him to return back to God and repent.
Purpose of the Heavenly Language.
PRAISE 1 Corinthians 14:15
What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.
PRAYER Jude 1:20
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

The Jesus in me remove every financial debt. ( Keep on meditating on this word and you will see God will able to open ways for you to settle your financial problems.)
How to remove bad habits or character in you?

The signs of Christ’s Coming.
Events Prophesied.
The Bible tell us of a number of events that would take place immediately before Christ’s returns. Matthew 24:6-7

Earthquakes Biggest Killer
A UN-sponsored report finds that more people died from earthquakes in the past decade than from any other disaster.
Studies show more than 780,000 people were killed in nearly 4,000 disasters. These catastrophic events affected more than two billion other people and cost a minimum of $960 billion in economic losses.
Guha Sapir of the Center for Research on Epidemiology of Disasters said climate events affected far more people and the threats for these events are increasing.
"Most of the affected people are due to climate related events and the economic losses are largely due to floods and storms," Sapir told the AFP news agency.
"It is not clear that climate change itself is an important factor in this increase," he said. "There can be many other factors, bad political systems, weak infrastructure, bad organization policies, population increase, deforestation and global warming…And we do not have sufficient research to show what is the contribution of climate-related factors to the increase in climate-related disasters."Â
Storms accounted for 22 percent of the overall death toll while extreme temperatures claimed 11 percent of lives lost in 3,852 disasters over the period.
The most deadly disasters of the past 10 years were the Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004, Cyclone Nargis in Burma and the Sichuan earthquake in China in 2008, followed by the earthquake in Pakistan in 2005 and heat waves in Europe in 2003.
The current decade has gotten off to an equally deadly start, with about 170,000 feared dead in the powerful and unprecedented earthquake that struck Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince and the surrounding area on January 12.
Although the number of disasters have increased over the years, the number of people affected by them has dropped dramatically.
Experts say earthquakes will continue to threaten millions of peoples’ lives because eight out of the 10 most-populous cities in the world are on earthquake fault-lines.
A sudden spurt of knowledge and vast increase in worldwide travel.

The Bible also predicts a time when it will be too late to search the scriptures.
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. Jesus said that Jerusalem would be occupied by non-Jewish nations until the time of those nations are fulfilled(Luke 21:24)
In June 1967 Israel occupied the city of Jerusalem for the first time in 20 centuries.

Numbers 19:2-7 "This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed. "You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be brought outside the camp and be slaughtered in his presence. Next Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and sprinkle some of its blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times. "Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight; its hide and its flesh and its blood, with its refuse, shall be burned. "The priest shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest shall be unclean until evening.“
A red heifer will be required to be used in the process of purification described in the book of Numbers. In May 1997 the first Red Heifer was born in 2000 years. Another red Heifer was born in Israel in March of 2002.

The prophet Joel claimed the sun will turn to darkness, and the moon will become like blood, before the arrival of the day of the Lord. He perceived a great significance in these signs, as both the sun and the moon were appointed for signs, seasons, days, and years in Genesis 1:14.

Return of the Jews.
RETURN OF THE ETHIOPIAN JEWS TO ISRAEL
Zephaniah 3:10-11 "From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My dispersed ones, will bring My offerings. In that day you will feel no shame because of all your deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst your proud, exulting ones, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain."
In 1984, Operation Moses saw the airlift of 15,000 Jews who had already fled to refugee camps in Sudan to escape starvation. In 1991, Operation Solomon flew 20,000 Jews to Israel from Ethiopia itself. A further airlift began in June of 1999, aimed at transporting the last 3,000 members of the Quara Jewish community from northeastern Ethiopia to Israel.

WHY DO YOU LOOK FOR THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD?

}Luke 24:1–12
}Jesus Has Risen
}24 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had preparedu and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.v 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightningw stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:x 7 ‘The Son of Many must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”z 8 Then they remembered his words.a

}Where is Jesus now?
}Why do you look for the living among the dead?” (Luke 24:5) That is a great question! We do not normally look for the dead among the living. So why would you look for the living among the dead? That is the question the angels posed to the women who came to Jesus’ tomb that first Easter morning. And that is the question I would like us to consider this morning.
}They were finding Jesus among the dead.
}Instead, we read in verses 2-3: “They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.” (Luke 24:2-3) I like that. They found the stone rolled away, but they did not find Jesus. They were looking for Jesus among the dead, and they could not find him.
}Many Christians are looking for Jesus at the wrong place.
}Some looking for Jesus in the cradle on Christmas day.
}Some have kept Him nailing on the cross.
}Some have made idols of Him thinking He is there.
}Some even put photos of Him thinking it is Him and worshipping it.
}Jesus is not in this place.
}The world cannot see Him. But you can.

}1 CORINTHIANS 15: 55
}55 "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
}He is alive, you are alive and reign in life.
}CONCLUSION: The angels asked the women that first Easter morning, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?” Let me say it to you again. If you are looking for Jesus among the dead, you will never find him because he is not there. But if you look for Jesus among the living, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Jesus Christ is alive. He is risen! He is risen indeed!
